His Majesty's Lord-
Lieutenant of Cheshire
Welcome to the
Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire’s website
Lady Redmond MBE
Lady Redmond MBE came into office as HM Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire on 25 August 2021.
This website explains who we are, what we do and how you can contact us – in particular if you know of people or organisations you think deserve recognition.
How we can help you
Nominating someone for a National Honour or for an invitation to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party is not difficult.
We can give advice and guidance if you need it.
We can also advise on how to request a Royal Visit or a 100th birthday or 60th wedding anniversary message.
Royal Visits to Cheshire
A visit by a member of the Royal Family is a great way to celebrate achievement and excellence in Cheshire.
We can advise on how to request and plan for such a visit.
King's Awards
Each year awards are made to outstanding groups of volunteers who have made a real difference within their communities, and also to businesses with an outstanding track-record particularly in international trade or in innovation.
Royal Garden Parties
Garden parties are hosted each year at Buckingham Palace for those who do special things to help others.
The Lord-Lieutenant is given an allocation of a limited number of places for people from Cheshire and welcomes nominations of deserving people from around the county.
