The Lord-Lieutenant, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, has presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise – Innovation to Aerofoil Energy Ltd of Bollington.
Founded in 2014, the Company has pioneered the use of shelf-edge technology to improve the energy efficiency of supermarket refrigeration, a feature of the food retail industry that accounts for 3 per cent of the UK’s entire consumption of electricity.
