At a ceremony held at Tatton Park on 28 April, the Lord-Lieutenant on behalf of HM The Queen presented BEMs to David Allman of Childer Thornton and Joanne Conchie of Winsford.

The Lord-Lieutenant attended a Reception at St James’s Palace on 31 March to mark the end of the first tree-planting season of the Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC). Planting will now be paused until October, and in the meantime QGC will move into a conservation phase to unveil 70 Ancient Woodlands and 70 Ancient Trees.
