Queen’s Green Canopy

The Lord-Lieutenant attended a Reception at St James’s Palace on 31 March to mark the end of the first tree-planting season of the Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC). Planting will now be paused until October, and in the meantime QGC will move into a conservation phase to unveil 70 Ancient Woodlands and 70 Ancient Trees.

Holly Holy Day, Nantwich

The Lord-Lieutenant laid a wreath at the War Memorial in Nantwich on Holly Holy Day – being the 50th anniversary of the association between Nantwich and the Sealed Knot Society in remembrance of the Siege and Battle of Nantwich (Winter 1643/25th January, 1644).

Chester QGC Champion City
